A
Vacuum Pressure Pump is widely used in printing machines. To create a
vacuum in a system it is necessary to move all molecules of gas out of
the system. The molecules will move when there is a pressure difference
between the two regions of the space. The low pressure region is the
space with the smaller number of molecules, while the high pressure
region is with the larger number of molecules. Any device which can
create a pressure difference between the two regions in the space is
called Pump. The pump which creates the vacuum in certain system is
called a Vacuum Pressure Pump. In printing machines, a vacuum pressure
pump is used to circulate ink during the printing process.Advantages of Vacuum Pressure Pumps
- These pumps are cost effective.
- These pumps are reliable and are now available in small size and lighter weight.
- The pump reduces the risk of sample contamination. An air seal between the pump and cylinder provides oil-free and dust-free vacuum or pressure delivery.
- Compact design saves working space.
- Vacuum/Pressure pumps feature a diaphragm for quieter and cleaner operation.
- This pump is ideal in printing industry that requires a vacuum and/or pressure source for ink movement.
- The pump is used in the automatic screen printing machines, offset printing machines, mini offsets, envelope making machines, paper folding machines, automatic die cutting and punching machines etc.
